I
now
have
my P-plates and, in the eyes of my wife and the community, I am now a real person! |  |

time
I
got
a
learner's
licence
was
just
before
I
moved
to
the
UK
for
2
years
in
1990.
I
got
my
next
learner's
licence
(long
since
expired)
in
1997.
It
was
just
coincidence,
but
my
partner
Diane
sold
her
car
the
same
week
